Hemifacial Spasm Treated with Placenta Pharmacopuncture

Abstract

|
Hemifacial spasm is painless muscular disorder of involuntary paroxysmal movement of one side of face. Generally it starts at one side of eye or mouth and radiates to whole part of hem facial region. This study was to evaluate three cases of hemifacial spasm treated with placenta pharmacopuncure. After treatment, I evaluated these cases by Scott`s description and the frequency of spasm. As a result of evaluation, the score of Scott`s description and frequency of spasm were improved. The placenta pharmacopuncture can be used for hemifacial spasm.
